Remedios Valencia Bernabe known by her friends and family as Remy was born on September 6, 1938, in Manila, Philippines, passed away peacefully on February 21, 2025, in Fontana, California. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She lived a life full of memories, marked by her vibrant spirit and her joyous contributions to the lives of those she touched. Remedios will be remembered fondly for her warm personality and her nurturing nature, which radiated love to her family and friends. She cherished her time with loved ones and took every opportunity to create lasting memories together.
Remy enjoyed traveling, music, shopping, playing mahjong, and visiting the Yaamava casino. Each of these activities brought great joy and relaxation to her life.
In her life, Remedios endured the loss of many cherished loved ones. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Dominador S. Bernabe, and her beloved children, Benedict Bernabe and Maria Lolita Bernabe. She also mourned the passing of her mother, Rosario Lachica, and her father, Venancio Valencia. These losses shaped her strength and resilience.
Remedios is survived by her loving children: Ann, Paz, Malou, Ochie, and Ashley. Their love for her continues to echo in their lives as they carry forward her legacy of warmth, laughter, and unwavering spirit.

A Mass in celebration of her life will take place on March 7, 2025, at Holy Name of Mary, located at 724 E Bonita Avenue, San Dimas, CA, starting at 12:15 PM.
