Rena Bell Bee

Rena Bell Bee, 93, of Weston, passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at Maplewood Nursing Home in Bridgeport, WV. Rena was born in Weston, WV on January 5, 1933 daughter of the late Henry Frances Eagle and Ina Lorraine (Simpson) Eagle. Rena was united in marriage on July 13, 1963 to Carl Edward Bee, who preceded her in death on January 12, 2023.

Cherishing the life of Rena are her 2 daughters, Barbara Darlene John and husband, Tim and Debra Ann Pratt and companion, Doug Knight both of Weston, 5 grandchildren, Ashley Pratt and companion, Travis Halterman, Britney Godfrey, Chace Ruble and wife, Tracie, Seth Ruble, and Lindsey Williams and husband, Chris, 10 great grandchildren, Levi Murphy, Kalyn Godfrey, Kyle Donaldson, Gavlin Halterman, Caiden Ruble, Roman Ruble, Gabe Spencer, Summer Spencer, Harrison Williams, and Marlowe Williams, longtime family member, Tim Ruble, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Rena was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Lawrence Eagle.

Rena was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose life centered on caring for her family. A dedicated homemaker, she took great pride in creating a warm and welcoming home, finding joy in cooking, staying at home, and lovingly tending to the needs of those she cherished most. Early in life, Rena was an active member of Horner United Methodist Church, where she generously helped with many church activities. In later years, she attended Word of Life Church in Weston alongside her daughter, Barbara. Rena especially loved her annual spring cleaning, a tradition she looked forward to each year, as well as the simple pleasure of bird watching. Her kindness, faith, and quiet devotion to family will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.

Family and friends will gather at Hardman Family Funeral Home, 730 N. Main Avenue of Weston, on Monday, January 12, 2026 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. from the funeral home chapel with Pastor Philip Strauss officiating.
