Rena Derrick Obituary
Mrs. Derrick was a beautician in Scottsboro for many years and owned different beauty shops in the area. She loved to play cards and take your money. She and her husband loved to travel to Tunica and Reno.
Mrs. Derrick was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Derrick; daughter, Jackie Gilbert; granddaughter, Julie Roberts; and several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her son, Chris (Sheryl McClure) Derrick; grandchildren, Zachary Alan (Emily) Derrick, Trenton Alexander (Maddie) Derrick; Destiny Renee Metz; great grandson, Ryder Sorenson; sister, Lucy Sargent; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 15, 2026, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the Scottsboro Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM with Brother Phil Clanton officiating. Burial will take place in Pinehaven Memorial Gardens in Hollywood, Al.
