Renay A. Mincy was born on July 5, 1963 to the late Samuel and Sylvia Mincy. She was a proud graduate of Clinch County High School. Renay was known for her kind spirit, warm heart, and unwavering dedication to family and community. She was employed for many years at Little Suwannee and later at Lee Container, where she built lasting relationships and earned the respect of her coworkers. Due to health challenges, she eventually retired from the workforce.
Even after stepping away from formal employment, Renay remained active in roles that mattered most-serving others through housekeeping and nurturing the lives of the children around her. She had a remarkable gift for making every child she encountered feel like her own, pouring out love, wisdom, and comfort.
She was preceded in death by her eldest brother, John E. Mincy, her twin sister Rebecca E. Mincy, and her brother Norris N. Mincy.
Renay leaves to cherish her memory: her devoted sister Lena M. Grady (James), and her caring brothers: Charles L. Mincy and Larry Mincy, all of Homerville, GA. She also leaves behind her nephew, George D. Grant, whom she lovingly raised as her own son, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will forever remember her generosity, strength, and boundless love.
