Renee J. Bailor, 61, of Tidioute, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at the Titusville Area Hospital shortly after her arrival there.
Renee was born on January 12, 1964 in Warren, PA, a daughter of the late John and Florence Berlin Bailor.
Renee was a graduate of the Tidioute High School, class of 1982.
Renee had always been a horse lover. She boarded her horse at a place and would run up there most afternoons to ride. She could be seen showcasing her horse in the annual fishing tournament parade.
Since returning to Pennsylvania to live several years ago, Renee had served as an in-home caregiver for many years. She previously worked in retail management in the apparel industry, later switching to grocery where she served first as a manager of the deli/bakery department and then ultimately as the assistant manager at a Tom Thumb Grocery in Dallas, TX. As a bakery manager, she loved being able to provide custom birthday cakes for her niece and nephew. She knew how to make all things deli last a lifetime, a little mold on that cheese, cut it off and make pimento cheese spread.
ReniJane, as her family called her, loved to tell stories. She never met a stranger and would regal her family with wild stories of her adventures in Maryland and Texas, two places that she lived in her lifetime outside Pennsylvania.
Renee is survived by her companion, Jay Sutton of Tidioute; a brother, David Bailor of Warren, PA; three sisters, Dana Borland and husband Dave of Elizabethton, TN, Andra "Pink" Quinn and husband Dan of Warren, and Suzann Warden and husband Jim of Townville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Renee was preceded in death by three brothers, John, Timothy and Steven Bailor.
No public services will be conducted.
A memorial picnic will be planned later in the summer.
