Renee was born in Painesville, Ohio on August 25, 1958 and resided in Conroe with her husband John Dettwiler. They have been married since December 8, 1996.
Renee loved to cook for her family and friends. She also loved animals, turquoise jewelry, and spending time with friends and family. She will be greatly missed by everyone who loves her.
Renee is survived by her husband, John Dettwiler; her sons: Justin Dettwiler and Sam Cook and wife Michele; her mother, Donna Hammitt; her sisters: Kerri Hammitt and Rose Marie Williams; her four grandchildren and one great grandchild; as well as many other relatives and countless friends.
She is preceded in death by her father, Samuel Hammitt.
