Pamela Renée Patterson Hamrick, 65, of Spartanburg, passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at her home. She was born on January 10, 1958, in Phenix City, Alabama, a daughter of the late Carl Patterson and Edna Louise Grantham Weaver.
Renée was a retired seamstress and was a talented singer for many years. She was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are her daughter, Gena Foster (Shannon) of Boiling Springs, SC; her sons, Tach Hill (Teresa) of Pauline, SC and Rudy Johnson, Jr. from Spartanburg; her six grandchildren, Nicholas Foster, London Foster, Haley Johnson, Skylar Johnson, Kent Foster (Jessica) and Alex Foster; her six great-grandchildren, Ah’Nava, Michael Noah, Noah Bradley, Elijah, Kolton, Cooper and 3 great-granddaughters “on the way”; and her sister, Brenda Kirkland of Columbus, Ga. Renée was predeceased by her three brothers and three sisters.
The family will receive friends 5-7 pm Monday, September 25, 2023, at Floyd’s Boiling Springs, Chapel, 4161 Highway 9 North, Boiling Springs, SC 29316. Renee’s funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at Floyd’s Boiling Springs Chapel. Burial will follow at Boiling Springs Memorial Gardens.
