Renee C. Kopp Obituary
Renee C. Kopp, 92, peacefully entered eternal life on January 24, 2024, surrounded by her family at her home in Sellersburg, Indiana. Born on November 5, 1931, in Vevay, Indiana, to William and Edna Cook (Weales), Renee dedicated 40 years of service as a computer operator at Clark County REMC before her well-deserved retirement. A devoted life member of Sellersburg First Baptist Church, she found joy in helping others and cherished her church, friends, and family. Renee's legacy is one of kindness, dedication, and love. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Renee was preceded in death by her husbands, Bob Gallman and George Kopp and by her grandson, Chreighton H. Tanner "J.R."
Survivors include her son, Shawn Gallman of Sellersburg, Indiana, her daughter, April Criswell (Cris) of Sellersburg, her grandchildren, Rebecca Gallman and Daniel Stanway. Renee also leaves one great-granddaughter to cherish her memory, Delaney Tanner.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, January 30, 2023 at the Garr Funeral Home (7806 Highway 311, Sellersburg, Indiana 47172) with interment to follow at Sellersburg Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to: Sellersburg First Baptist Church (7912 County Road 311, Sellersburg, Indiana 47172), Guiding Eyes for the Blind (611 Granite Springs Road, Yorktown Heights, New York 10598), Gentiva Hospice (391 Quartermaster Court, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130).
