Renee Linda Sharpe, of Falmouth, passed away on October 26, 2025.
Renee graduated from Falmouth High School in 1967 and went on to live in Connecticut, where she worked for an insurance company. She then moved to New Jersey, where she worked as a secretary for a large warehouse for many years. Eventually, she moved back home to the Cape to be closer to her family and to raise her only daughter. She worked for Components, Inc. in Pocasset for many years.
Renee was funny and pretty, and she had a big, beautiful smile, as well as a fresh sense of humor, much like her mother, Ruthie. Renee loved her family deeply and would defend them at all costs. She also loved a good romance and any cute chick flick and would watch the same movies over and over, especially if the leading man was handsome. Renee always rooted for the underdog. She was especially happy when she had an ice cold Pepsi in her hand and a goodie in the other. She had quite a sweet tooth and was a self proclaimed Pepsi-aholic, also just like her mother. What made her happiest, though, was spending time with her beloved daughter and best friend, Kathleen, watching romcoms, going shopping and out for lunch, daily talks on the phone and catching up on all the gossip, and she gave the best advice. She was a selfless mother, proving that the bond between a mother and a daughter can never be broken.
Renee is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Sharpe-Agnatovech, and her husband Rob, of Billerica, beloved brothers Russell, Tyrone, Glenn, Darryl, Bruce, & Todd, and equally beloved sisters, Maryellen & Valerie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and her fur grandson, Jake. She was the daughter of the late Ruth (Barrows) Sharpe of Falmouth, who she missed dearly.
Thank you mom for being the best friend a girl could ever ask for. I love you forever.
