It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Scott David Sargent, who departed this life on October 23rd, 2025, in Falmouth, Massachusetts. Born on April 20th, 1938, Scott David Sargent brought joy, kindness, and love to those who knew him. An entrepreneur and a cherished member of the community, he created and ran the Auto Hospital originally located on Palmer Avenue in Falmouth, and later along with his wife Marion, Worldwide Enterprises, where they touched countless lives through acts of service, generosity and warmth.
Scott Sargent served honorably in the United States Air Force as an Aircraft Electronics Technician and an Electronics Training Instructor. While stationed in Japan, Scott had the unforgettable achievement of completing a climb to the top of Mt. Fuji.
Scott Sargent was known for his unwavering dedication to family and friends. He will be remembered for his compassion, sense of humor, and accomplishments. Scott was also very fond of animals and adopted and cherished his many dogs. Scott also had a passion for motorcycles and rode for most of his life. Additionally, Scott derived great joy and satisfaction serving as a volunteer safety worker at New Hampshire Motor Speedway's Loudon Road Race Series, where he was always close to the action.
He is survived by his spouse of 69 years, Marion Bassett Sargent, his son David and wife Kathleen, his daughter Michelle and husband Scott, Grandchildren and Great-grandchildren. The legacy he leaves behind is one of love, integrity, and resilience, and he will forever be missed.
The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date to celebrate his remarkable life.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to "Friends of Falmouth Dogs" reflecting Scott's lifelong commitment to helping others.
