Rev. Ramon Maldonado

Rev. Ramon Maldonado, 67, born on August 20, 1957 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, passed away in his home peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, August 16, 2025.

Rev. Ramon Maldonado was a devoted husband and loving father to three children; Ramon Jr, Yahira and Steven, having shared 48 years of marriage with his wife, Doris. He was also a beloved grandfather to his nine grandchildren.

He was a devoted spiritual leader who dedicated his life to serving his community and nurturing the faith of those around him. He became a Certified Minister on July 16, 1999, marking the beginning of his commitment to ministry. In recognition of his growing experience and service, he received his License to Minister on July 16, 2004. After years of dedicated work and leadership, he was ordained as a Minister on July 13, 2018. He served as Co-Pastor at Vineland Spanish Pentecostal Church Assembly of God from 1995 to 2009. During his tenure, he played a significant role in community outreach and spiritual guidance, helping to strengthen the congregation's connections within the local community. He was the founder and Pastor at Faro de Luz, established in 2009. Throughout his ministry, Rev. Ramon inspired countless individuals with his compassion, wisdom, and commitment to spiritual growth. He was a light to all who knew him and his legacy will live on in the hearts of those he touched.

He is survived by his wife, Doris; son, Ramon Jr. and wife Marilynn; daughter, Yahira; son, Steven and wife Jen; grandchildren, Nico, Colby, Kaitlyn, Nelson, Jarinel, Bella, Braden, Brooklynn and Mia; brothers, Edwin, Carlos, Jesus, Luis, Johnny, Jaime and sister, Marita.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, August 21st from 12pm to 1pm followed by funeral services at 1pm at Millville Assembly of God (Igelsia Faro de Luz) 1700 Wheaton Avenue, Millville, NJ 08332. Burial will follow at Siloam Cemetery, Vineland.
