Obituary published on Legacy.com by Martin-Dugger Funeral Home - Elk City on Jan. 2, 2026.
Reydonia "Ruth" Anders, lovingly known as Ruth, was born on February 18, 1950, in
Atoka, Oklahoma. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose life was centered on love, family, and togetherness.
On December 31, 1968, Ruth married the love of her life, Richard Anders. Their marriage was a true partnership filled with love and devotion. Together, they shared 57 beautiful years, building a life rich with memories, laughter, and family. Ruth and Richard were blessed with three children: Michelle, Ricky, and Jamie. They created a warm and loving home and later opened their hearts to help raise three of their grandchildren-Joey, Keith, and Brianna-whom Ruth cherished deeply.
Ruth found great joy in spending time with her husband, especially during their trips to Laughlin, Nevada, a place that held many special memories for them. She was a proud and dedicated supporter of her family, rarely missing an opportunity to attend her children's, grandchildren's, and great-grandchildren's sporting events and activities. She especially loved traveling to watch Brianna play soccer, treasuring every moment spent on the sidelines.
Above all else, Ruth loved her family. She delighted in watching her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren grow and cherished every moment spent together, whether at games, gatherings, or in simple everyday moments.
