Reynaldo Mesa, 82, of Fort Stockton Tx. went to his heavenly home Monday, May 27,2024.

 Viewing for Reynaldo Mesa will be held from 10am to 1:45pm Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Heritage Funeral Home of the Big Bend 301 N. Main Street in Fort Stockton, Texas with Services being held at 2 pm. A meal will be served following the service, courtesy of the family, at the pavilion at Nunez Park 509 S. Main, Fort Stockton, Texas.

 Reynaldo better known as “Rey” was born in Ft. Stockton, Tx on April 5th, 1942. In 1960 he began a new chapter in life, marrying Oralia Blanco. From there, he was known as “DAD” to his 5 amazing children.
 Rey was a “gahtdamm” good welder and spent many years burning rods in the west Texas oil patch. While welding was his specialty, fishing and the great outdoors were his passion. As anyone who had the privilege of hearing his colorful fishing and hunting stories can tell you, Rey was always ready for an adventure. Many a memory was made at the lake surrounded by family, fishing off the pontoon boat. He rarely lost a lure but when he did, it was always a “good one”!
 Reynaldo has been reunited with his parents, Augustine and Bernarda Mesa; his brother, Augustine Mesa Jr.; sister, Dorothy Velasquez; sister Carol and brother-in-law Rueben Dominguez, Gonzalo and Socorro Celaya.
 Rey will be missed by many but especially by his wife Oralia Mesa of 65 years, his brothers Frank and Willie Mesa, his 5 children, son Ray Jr. and daughter-in-law, Sylvia Mesa, son Ronnie Mesa, daughter Cathy and son-in-law Mando Morales, Matthew Mesa & Corrina Belman and Gabriel and daughter-in-law Stephanie Mesa; his many grandchildren, Brianna, Christopher, Jasmine, Rae Rae , Mikey, Jeremy, Brandon, Jacob, Damaine, Kelsey, Sebastian, and Sierra as well as his great grandchildren Neveah, Nick, Noah, Creed, Ezra, Averi, Alani, Mazi, Isai and Asiah, as well as many nieces and nephews.
