Reynold Earl Combs, 81, of Olivet, died peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, October 10, 2025. Reynold was born January 29, 1944, in Fenton, MI, the son of Irving and Eva (Becker) Combs. He served as an ordnanceman in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. When he returned to Michigan from the war, he started his career as an over-the-road semi-truck driver, eventually purchasing his own truck and driving for various outfits over the years. When he wasn't on the road, Reynold loved time spent with his family and his animals. He was a devout pet lover. Reynold was known to be a gentle and reserved yet strong-willed man with a charitable heart and a protective nature. He loved NASCAR as well as National Geographic. He could often be found bird watching. Above all, he loved and cherished his family.

Reynold is survived by his daughter, Amy Beth Erickson; daughter-in-law, Lori Wade; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Eilene (Bud) Dode and Carolyn (John) Boren; many nieces, nephews and extended family members; and close friends, John and Betty. He was predeceased by his sons, Aaron and Andrew Combs, and his parents.

Friends are encouraged to support Reynold's family by sharing memories on his Tribute Page at www.prayfuneral.com < http://www.prayfuneral.com >. If desired, the family suggests memorial contributions to Pawsibilities Rescue in Olivet or VFW Post 42. The family is in the care of Pray Funeral Home, Charlotte.
