Rhonda La Verne Wilson, 81, of Hot Springs, went to be with the Lord on February 3, 2024. She was born August 31, 1942, in Hot Springs to Roy Paul and Estelle Pickering. Laverne retired from Walgreens where she worked as a pharmacy tech. She enjoyed raising Yorkie Dogs and at one time, raised Cockatiel Birds.
She is predeceased by her parents, her daughter, Dana Harris, and sister, Jeanette Doris.
Loving survivors include her husband of 52 years, Calvin "Buddy" Wilson; son, Tony (Darinda) Wilson; brother, Roy (Judy) Pickering, Jr., 3 grandchildren, Taylon (Nikki) Wilson, Chevy (Lauren) Wilson, and Keily (Derek) Bozeman; 4 great-grandchildren, Nyxin Wilson, Jolene Wilson, Allison Wilson, Jessi Wilson; nieces, Kay (Rajesh) Shroff, Kristy Bryant, Kim Newman, Paula (Richard) Weston, Joy (Jimmy) Pickering; nephews; Tray Pickering, Tommy Scott; several great nieces and great nephews, her caregiver, Billi Parker, and friends.
Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Thursday, February 8, 2024 at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home, 155 Section Line Rd., Hot Springs, AR. Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M., Friday, February 9, 2024, at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home with Brother Aaron Polk officiating. Burial will follow at Morning Star Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Taylon Wilson, Chevy Wilson, Tray Pickering, Austin Cobb, Jason Mead, and Bronson Zabel.
Special thanks to the staff at Hospice Home Care, Hot Springs Senior Care, Arkansas Renal group, Dr. Flash, Mandi Bohlen and Dr. Rajesh Shroff.

I remember when they lived in the house out cutter area up the hill and I always thought of how cozy and at home she always made her home and I would hate to leave. You will be missed and we love you!! Tell our father up there I said hello and I love him too!! See you soon!!
