Rhonda Lamm Jacks, 57, of Granbury, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2025, at home after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on May 11, 1968, in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, to Dwain and Chris (Lebahn) Lamm. Rhonda graduated from Cleburne High School in 1986 and went on to receive her court reporter certification, a profession she enjoyed and prized for its flexibility that allowed her time to raise her beloved daughter, Tara Mears Covey. Rhonda married the love of her life, Bryan Jacks, on January 1, 2015. The two enjoyed a mutual love of travel, adventure and keeping the Lord central in their lives and marriage.
Rhonda is survived by her loving husband, Bryan; her daughter, Tara Mears Covey and husband Matthew Covey; step-son Derek Jacks and wife, Rachael; her grandchildren Quinn Covey, Camryn Covey, Cooper Jacks and Laramie Jacks; her brother Gary Lamm and wife Kimberly, along with nephews, Cameron Lamm and fiancée Libby, Caleb Lamm and niece Courtney Lamm Weppner and husband, Ben; sister-in-law, Jane Mears Krzysiak and husband, Michael, along with nephews, John, Charlie, William and Henry Krzysiak. Rhonda also leaves behind many friends and extended family members who will miss her fun-loving personality and faithful friendship.
Funeral service will be held at 10a.m. Friday, November 7, 2025, at StoneWater Church at 911 East Hwy 377, Granbury, Texas.
Visitation will be held from 6p.m. – 8p.m. Thursday, November 6, 2025, at Wiley Funeral Home, 400 US Hwy 377 East, Granbury, Texas.
