Rhonda Eileen Robinson

Rhonda Eileen Robinson passed away peacefully on Friday, November 7, and went home to be with her Savior. Despite her struggle with physical and mental health issues, she endeared herself to many people through acts of kindness. During her retirement home days, she befriended other residents who were lonely, by doing their laundry and writing birthday cards which she would slip under their door. She loved her cat Garfield, who was her faithful companion.

Rhonda is survived by daughter Katie Kines, Chattanooga; grandsons Jarred Dunn, Tyler Dunn, and Matthew Dunn, all of Chattanooga; plus three siblings in the Atlanta area, brother Rev. Charles and wife Mickie Robinson; sister Becky and husband Robert Stavely; brother Robert and wife Sherry Robinson; and a number of nephews and nieces.

In 2006 Rhonda attended an Easter Sunrise Service at Fort Oglethorpe United Methodist Church where she met Rev. Mark and Jean Davis. Over time they became like family and assisted her with the daily activities of life, health, and living arrangements for the rest of her life. John Creel also became partners in befriending and caring for Rhonda.

Rhonda attended several churches where Rev. Mark Davis pastored, as well Briarwood Church, where the Davises attended in retirement. Rhonda had a great gift of intercessory prayer. She participated in activities of The Order of St. Luke Prayer and Healing Ministry. She was also a member of the Emmaus Community, where she made many friends. She attended the Butterfly Reunion Group. Over the years, several special friends included Carol Ellis, Lynelle Tiedman, Marie White, and Connie Noland.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Briarwood Church, 26 Ellis Springs Rd., Ringgold, GA, with Rev. Mark Davis, Rev. Charles Robinson, and Rev. Jim Boyd officiating.
