Obituary of Rhonda Gail Shell-Shepard
Rhonda Shell-Shepard, aged 58, of Independence, KY, passed away on April 15, 2024. She was born on February 17, 1966, in Covington, KY. Rhonda was a vibrant and assertive individual who loved fiercely and lived life to the fullest.
Rhonda was known for her infectious energy and fearless personality. She enjoyed family game nights, especially playing "chicken foot" with dominoes. She loved country music, Mario Lopez, and watching the TV show "Friends" brought her joy every single day. Rhonda was a compassionate and caring person who always put others' needs before her own. Her strength and resilience were evident as she fought through immense pain with unwavering determination.
She is survived by her mother, Barbara Shell; her husband, Terry Shepard; her sons Tyler (Kelly) Shepard and Trent Shepard; grandsons Dawson, Jackson and Harrison Shepard; brother Robby (Renae) Shell; and sister Amanda (Mark) Ellis. Rhonda was preceded in death by her father, Harold Wayne Shell, and grandparents Gertrude and Roscoe Shell, Laura Jackson-Constant, and John R. Jackson.
Rhonda attended Taylor Mill Elementary School and Scott High School. She worshipped at Community Family Church and her memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Community Family Church, 11875 Taylor Mill Rd., Independence, KY 41051. Visitation will take place from 5:00-7:00 PM preceding the service at 7:00 PM. Chambers and Grubbs in Independence, KY, are assisting with the funeral arrangements.
Rhonda's legacy of love, strength, and compassion will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and cherished her. We love you, Mom. We'll meet you where the spirit meets the bones.
