Rhonda Shepard, daughter of John David and Jane Yeagley, was born on November 23, 1961, in Elwood, Indiana. She passed away peacefully in her home on October 15th, 2025.
Rhonda devoted much of her life to a career she loved—contract sewing—where her creativity and dedication shone through. Outside of work, she found joy in the outdoors, whether camping or tending lovingly to her garden.
On August 11, 2001, Rhonda married her best friend and soulmate, Ralph “Mitch” Shepard. Together they built a life full of love and shared purpose, and took great pride in loving their four children: Ralph Jr, Brandi, Reese, and Drew.
Rhonda is survived by her loving husband Mitch, her two children Brandi and Reese, eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother David Yeagley, and her two beloved sons, Ralph Jr and Drew.
Rhonda’s warmth, resilience, and love for her family will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
A celebration of life will be planned and held at a later date.
