Rian was born on March 29, 1986, in St. Joseph, Missouri.
Rian was a funny, charismatic, and free spirit, whose beauty shone through from the inside out. She had beautiful dark hair, striking blue eyes, and a smile that could light up even the darkest room. She had a deep love for animals, music, art and sharing a good story (always adding her own flair of excitement to the details). Her stories could leave you laughing even on your worst day.
She enjoyed writing, journaling and poetry, but one of the last things she wrote was a list of things she needed more of in life. On that list was her daughter, Chloe-a reflection of just how deeply she loved her.
Rian endured significant pain in this life. Despite her own hardships, she always tried to light up the world for others, even during times when she needed light for herself. Rian will be remembered for her strong love of others, but especially her love of family and close friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Arnold and Beverly Warner, Robert and Helen Andres, James and Cuca Curtin, Glen and Norma Dunnihoo, and Elise "Mim" Neal, as well as her nephews, Keaton and Jarod Pullen.
Rian is survived by her daughter, Chloe Nicole Simmons, and Chloe's father, Jackie Simmons.
She is also survived by her maternal parents, Hali and John Pullen; paternal parents, Rob and
Ruth Andres; her sisters, Danielle (Clay) Miller, Jennifer (Lee) Pickard, Jonna (Glenn) Riley, and
Hannah (Tyler) Bowlin; her brothers, Jeremy Pullen, Trenton (Kay) Dunnihoo, Robby Andres,
Triston (Lisa) Andres, Bryston (Kayla) Andres, Ridge (Alesha) Andres, and Aiden Andres; her
grandparents, Bobby and Lola Andres; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and
friends who loved her deeply.
Funeral Service: 3:00 P.M. Saturday, September 27, 2025 at the Harman-Rohde Funeral Home,
Wathena, Kansas.
Visitation: 2:00 P.M. Saturday, one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
Burial: Bellemont Cemetery, Wathena, Kansas.
Memorials: Rian Andres Memorial Fund.

She was sweet hearted. 1st time I met her she lived at oak ridge and openly let me in to her home due to my other friend leaving. Most folks are in fear of everyone being untrustworthy. We said hi in passing at the hospital last I saw her. Really
