SAV Service Center Team 3.2.2018
Christopher Sim
April 30, 2019
When I began my tenure as a Maintenance Supervisor over the Savannah Service Center, I took over supervising a team of only 4 Technicians. At the start, Rick was one of the techs I could rely on day-to-day. Part of our job as a team was to make sure mechanical cars would flow through our shop in a timely manner, and Rick did a great job keeping old units from falling through the cracks. He was also helpful in helping make volume move through our doors when our team was bombarded with out-of-service vehicles. You could count on Rick to be at work every day he was scheduled, and he always had a joke or two to start the day off on a positive note. Rick had a good heart and always wanted to make sure the car he was working on was safe for the next employee and customer. Our work family has almost doubled since I started working with Rick, and I know from conversations over the years that he loved his family very much, and always talked about one of his favorite things to do was to eat-out with his wife. I will miss him greatly, and I pray the Lord will comfort his family in this time of mourning.
