It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Ricardo Santana-Brito, a beloved member of our community. Ricardo was born on May 5, 1959, in Monte Plata, Dominican Republic, to Nazario Santana and Bernadina Brito. He spent most of his childhood in Monte Plata, where he developed a passion for roosters and dice games, which he thoroughly enjoyed.
Ricardo was a family man and loved spending time with his loved ones. He cherished the moments when he could gather with his family members and play dominoes with them. He always looked forward to those gatherings and ensured everyone felt welcome and comfortable.
In his twenties, Ricardo moved to Santo Domingo, where he met his soulmate, Virgen Montero-Lorenzo. They fell in love and started a beautiful family together, which included four children: Solange Brito Montero, Saray Brito Montero, and Soryan Brito Montero. Ricardo was a devoted husband and father who always put his family first. He worked tirelessly to provide for them and was always there to offer his love and support.
Ricardo's passing is a significant loss to his family, friends, and community. His warm and kind-hearted nature will be missed by all who know him. We deepest sympathize with his wife, children, and loved ones during this difficult time.
