Robert C. Aristone
September 18, 1933 – September 21, 2025
Robert Aristone, 92, of Gibbsboro, NJ, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2025. Born in Camden, NJ, on September 18, 1933, Bob lived a full and adventurous life marked by hard work, service, and a sharp sense of humor that never faded.
A proud member of Local 825, Bob worked as a crane operator for many years. His dedication to his trade and his community extended beyond the job site - he also served as the former mayor of Gibbsboro, where his leadership and commitment left a lasting impact.
Bob was a man of many passions. He was a skilled horseman, a licensed pilot, a lifelong boater, and a motorcycle enthusiast who embraced life with a bold and curious spirit. He even owned a local tavern for a time, where he no doubt kept spirits high with his quick wit and constant jokes.
He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Robert Aristone. He leaves behind the love of his life, Daisy Gauntt, who stood by his side through life's many chapters with unwavering love and devotion.
Bob is survived by his daughter Nancy; his daughter-in-law Barb; and his sons Mike, his wife Dawn,Walter Brian, his wife Carolynn, His Stepdaughters Daisy Gauntt, Stephanie Santry and her husband Bob. He was a proud grandfather to 11 grandchildren and a great-grandfather to 7 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him great joy and pride.
Bob's memory will be carried on by those who loved him - not just for what he did, but for the way he lived: with strength, laughter, and an unshakable zest for life.
A celebration of Robert's life will be held, where friends and family are welcome to share stories on October 23,2024 6PM - 8PM at Inglesby & Sons FH 2426 Cove road, Pennsauken, NJ. 08109.
