Josephine Angelika Dunlap and her beloved

husband Richard Louis Dunlap of Andrews, Texas

went to be with their LORD and SAVIOR on Friday

July 4, 2025.

Josephine was born on March 18, 1957, in

Freisen, Germany to Agnes Fuchs Becker and

Jacob Becker. She had many jobs throughout her

life, but she last worked for Andrews High School

in the cafeteria. Josephine also worked for Kirby

West as a stock handler for over thirty years. She

was also a cashier for Alco, where she would

walk 9-10 miles to get to work.

Josephine was a member of the Church of Christ

in Andrews for many years where she

participated in many church activities such as

going to the nursing home and singing for the

residents, she would go every Christmas for

caroling. She loved her family and would do

anything for them such as cooking and taking

care of them.

Richard was born on March 31, 1952, in

Longview, Texas to Ruby Whisman Dunlap and

William Ely Dunlap. He was a sergeant in the

United States Army and a retired truck driver for

Palmer of Texas for 20 years. Richard was also a

member of the Church of Christ. He loved to fish

and camp and was known as a diligent worker;

his family described him as family-oriented,

quiet, and reserved.

Survivors include their children, daughter, Tatjana

"Jana" Scott of Andrews, their son, Ingo Roger

Dunlap and his wife Melody of Hobbs, New

Mexico; grandchildren, Christian Pennybaker, and

Andrea Lozano and husband Marco Acosta of

Hobbs, New Mexico; great grandchild, Luciano

Acosta also of Hobbs, New Mexico.

Richard is also survived by brothers, William "Bill"

Dunlap and wife Deniece of Kermit, and Terry

Dunlap and his wife Chamaine of Kermit, He is

preceded in death by his parents, William and

Ruby Dunlap; his brothers, Mike Dunlap and Jerry

Dunlap; sister, Mary Anne Moore; son-in-law,

Shon Scott.

Josephine Is survived by her sister, Rose Marie

Emery of Clarksville, Tennessee and Anna

Theobald, and husband Eddie of Germany. She is

preceded in death by her parents, Jacob and

Agnes Becker, and her brother Herman Becker.

A gathering of friends and family will take place

from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, July 18, 2025,

at McNett's Funeral Home. Funeral Services will

be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 19,

2025, at Church of Christ in Andrews, Texas with

Rev. Leslie Boone odiciating, Burial will follow at

Andrews Cemetery in Andrews.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Zachary Dunlap,

James Rhea, Brandon Rhea, Marco Acosta,

Billy Dunlap and Jeremy Martin.

In lieu of flowers "Memorial Contributions" can

be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
