Richard Arnold Obituary
He was born June 9, 1960 in Winchester, VA the son of Melvin and Virginia Faye Arnold.
He worked for Muller, Inc as a Foreman. He was a member of the Winchester Moose Lodge 1283. Ricard was in the Winchester National Guard for nine (9) years. He loved hunting and fishing, traveling with his wife. Richard have visited 28 states and Canada. He had plans to go on vacation with his wife to Alaska.
Richard married Haley Mary Alsberry, June 30, 1987 in Winchester, VA
Having no biological children, he helped his wife Mary raise her four children.
He is survived by his wife Haley Mary Alsberry and three children and one grandchild that he raised as his own. Jonathan Alsberry Middletown, VA, Brock Alsberry, Winchester, VA, April Frye Stephens City, VA and grandson Joshua Alsberry (Sierra) Martinsburg, WV. Two sisters Joyce Ruble (Warren) Winchester, VA, Donna Jarrett (Mitch) Stephens City, VA, one brother Keith Arnold, Wardensville, WV.
He is preceded in death by a son Brad Alsberry.
He leaves behind 14 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren. A host of nieces and nephews.
The family will received friends Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Jones Funeral Home, Winchester, VA from 10 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
Service will start at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Cory Smith officiating. Canvas Community Church, Lead Pastor Ryan Miller
Pall Bearers will be: Mike Riggleman, Mitchell Riggleman, Jeffery Riggleman, Donnie Arnold, Jr, Drey Johnson, Brian Bannister
Burial will follow at Mount Hebron Cemetery
Repass will be at Greenwood Fire Station, Winchester, VA
