Richard Aul Obituary

Richard L. Aul, 61, of 273 George Street, St. Marys, passed away unexpectedly Monday, February 16, 2026 at his residence.
He was born November 18, 1964, in Ridgway, son of Harold and Dorothy Smith Aul of Kersey. He was a lifelong resident of the area and a graduate of St. Marys Area High School.
On November 19, 1993, in St. Marys, Rick married Kim Pichler, who survives.
In addition to his wife and parents, Rick is also survived by his children: Kaitlin Aul, Jessica Fell (Curtis), and Danielle Klock; step-children: Julia Kopp (Leroy), Adam Krise (Desiree), and Michael Krise (Janel); numerous grandchildren, including a special grandson, Gavin Aul; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Carrie Shutters; and brothers: Stephen Aul and Brian Aul (Susan).
Rick was preceded in death by one brother, Michael Aul.
He was a huge fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins. You could hear him cheering on his teams a mile away. Rick enjoyed cooking and baking and anyone who entered his kitchen knew they would leave with a full stomach and an even fuller heart. As much as he liked to cook and bake, nothing brought Rick greater happiness than his grandchildren. They were his pride and cherished every moment spent teaching them how to measure flour just right or stirring the pot with patience and care. He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever celebrated by his family.
Funeral services for Rick will be held a date to be determined in the future.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc.
