Richard A. "Rick" Aumann Sr.

Richard A. Aumann Sr. “Rick”, 65, of Hustisford, passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family.

Rick was born on September 29, 1959, in Fort Atkinson, the son of Donald and Beverly (Pohlman) Aumann. He married the love of his life Sandra Moser on December 2, 1989, at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Watertown, and the couple enjoyed 35 years of marriage. Everyone knew when Rick was around from the sound of his boots, he was a selfless man, who was always the last to eat. He was a very detail-oriented person and perfectionist with the work that he did. Rick was known for being a jokester and entertaining people, he had a passion for muscle cars and his Can-Am Spyder. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed an ice-cold Old Style beer. Above all he loved spending time with his family and many friends.

Rick is survived by his wife Sandra, children Tracy (Matthew) Mielke, Ricky (Mandy) Aumann Jr., Jenny (Adam) Bertz, 6 grandchildren: Brendan, Briana, Skyler, Lacy, Dylan, Emily, and 4 great-grandchildren. He is further survived by his siblings Ron (Kim) Aumann, Donna (Doug) Anderson, Debbie (Gary) Friend, Darlene (Mike) Friend, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, September 5, 2025, at the Schmutzler-Vick funeral Home in Watertown with Fr. Tim Renz presiding. Visitation will take place at the funeral home from 9:00am until the time of service. Burial will follow the service at Hustisford Village Cemetery.
