Richard was passionate about playing golf, cards and driving. Richard was an incredibly devoted husband, family man and great friend. He loved getting out and about and engaging in the world around him. When he retired he and his wife Marlene traveled for several years in RVs prior to settling down in Hanes City, Florida, where they lived for many years. What does a daughter say when her Father has left? Words are hollow things when they need to mean the most.
I am so happy you are no longer hurting. But I miss you. Even more than I realized I would.
While compiling the various photos, and then hearing all the stories from the people who came to your service. I could really see that you had an incredibly blessed life. You enjoyed just about every moment of it. You made many true and deep friendships.
You will always be the granite core of our family.
While it is hard for us that you have taken this journey on your own. You have left behind a life time of strength and love that will sustain all of us.
Do not worry, we are taking good care of Mom.
Love you Dad.
