RICHARD LEE BAKER

Richard Lee Baker, 81, of Hallstead, PA was called home to be with the Lord on December 27, 2025. He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Carol; his children, Kevin (Tammy) Baker and Lori (Chris) Zick; six grandchildren, Emily (Josh) Richards, Allison (Jake) Faust, Jeffrey Baker, Libby, Mckenna, and Elijah Zick; three brothers, Al (Claire) Baker, Mark (Suzanne) Baker, and Dale Baker; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his son, Jeffrey Scott Baker in 1984; and also by his brothers, Walter, David, Carroll, and Dean Baker.

Prior to his retirement in 2003, Richard worked for IBM for 38 years as a Tool and Model Maker. He enjoyed woodworking in his shop and was a skilled craftsman. He made everyone in his family numerous gifts and furniture. Dick offered his skills and knowledge for home improvement projects for his family members and friends. One of his favorite past times was supporting his grandchildren's various activities and sporting events, including teams Lori was coaching. He was a wonderful, devoted husband, father, and grandfather. His steadfast presence is already missed and he leaves behind a void that will never be filled.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 3, 2026 at the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Inc. Hallstead, PA. Spring interment will be made in Rose Hill Cemetery.
