Richard L. Barndt, age 64, of Waukesha, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2025. He was born on April 6, 1960, to Ralph and Betty Barndt in Appleton, Wisconsin.
Richard pursued his education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he studied Electrical Servicing. He was a hardworking and dedicated man, always willing to share his skills and knowledge with others.
He had a deep love for the outdoors and sports, enjoying bowling, fishing, swimming, basketball, baseball, and football. Summers were especially meaningful to him, as he cherished time spent at the family cottage, making lifelong memories surrounded by loved ones.
Richard is survived by his devoted wife, Laura Barndt; his brothers Dan, Thomas (Carrie), and John (Carolyn); as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, all of whom he adored. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Betty Barndt; his brother, David; his grandparents; and his dear uncle Sonny and aunt Ginny.
Richard's kindness, warmth, and love for life touched many, and he will be deeply missed. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice in his honor.
