It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one Richard Charles Barnett, a beloved, son, brother, father, and friend. Richard, AKA "Rick", left this world on June 30, 2024 in Columbus, Ohio at the age of 54. Born October 17, 1969 in Columbus, Ohio. Rick brought laughter and joy into the lives of those around him.
Richard was the son of Maxine Barnett and Charles Barnett. Rick cherished his role as a father, uncle, brother, cousin and friend. Rick loved his family and will be truly missed. Richard had four siblings, Tonya, James, Georgia and Andrew; nieces, Juaniqua and Shanae; nephews, Vincent, Isaiah and many more. Richard was a certified Mechanic and loved to work on cars. He graduated from Columbus State Community College. Whenever Rick wasn't working, he would always want to hang out with his family.
As we remember Richard Charles Barnett let us celebrate the loving and incredible person he was and the love he bestowed upon us all. May his memory forever remain in our hearts and may his spirit guide and inspire us to live life to the fullest, just as he did.
