Richard Bartkowski of Clinton Twp, Michigan passed away March 9, 2025 at the age of 90. He was the beloved husband of the late Patricia Bartkowski. Richard was a proud veteran of the United States Army and had a long and successful banking career. He loved the outdoors and with the help of family and friends, built a log home in Interlochen, Michigan and created many great memories. His favorite pastimes were hunting with family and watching baseball and playing golf. He was a former member of the Utica Rotary Club and the Warren Optimist Club.
Richard was a devoted father, grandfather and great-grandfather and will be deeply missed. He is survived by his children Mark, Lynn (Terry), Karen (Kevin) and Michael (Terri). Grandchildren Matthew, Keith, Ethan, Sakeena, Elyse, Christopher, Alivia and Abigail. Great grandchildren Georgia, Annie, Mia, Quinn and Maddie.
Private services will be held for Richard. Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society Metro Detroit Area Service Center-P.O. Box 10069, Detroit, MI 48210, or at www.cancer.org
