Stephen Joseph Bartkowski

Stephen Joseph Bartkowski, 57, entered into eternal life on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital-Somerset in Somerville, New Jersey. Stephen was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, and is the son of the Theresa (née Jasinski) Bartkowski and the late Lucjan Bartkowski, Sr. He grew up in Middlesex, New Jersey and moved to Somerville this year.

Stephen was a graduate of Middlesex High School with the Class of 1986. He was a dedicated employee at ETD Discount Tire & Service in Denville, New Jersey. He was certified and honored by the "National Institute for Automotive Services Excellence" (ASE). He loved his job at ETD as a senior mechanic and those he worked with were family to him. He had his own area at work which his co-workers called "Stephie's Corner."

Stephen cherished the time spent with family especially the time shared with his brother and cousins. With passion, he enjoyed watching and attending NASCAR and NHRA racing!

Stephen is survived and will be dearly missed by his loving brother, Lucjan Bartkowski, Jr. and his wife Laura of Tampa, Florida; his treasured niece and nephews, Lucjan III, Richard, and Jessica; his adored great niece, Emma; loving aunts and his dear close cousin, Richard Jasinski of Brick, New Jersey and his sons; many additional cousins, Christina and her husband Charles and their sons, Liz and her husband Anwar, Ewa and Andrew, Sharon, Cathy and David; along with his sister, Ann and her husband Andy, all from New Jersey.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life Memorial at the Riverside Inn, located at 102 Woodfern Road, Neshanic Station, New Jersey, 08853 on Saturday, September 20, 2025 from 3-6 p.m.
