Richard R. 'Rick' Bellgraph, age 75 of Corning, NY passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2025. Born on July 11, 1950 in Elmira, NY, he was the son of the late Evelyn (Dickinson) Bellgraph.
Rick was a graduate of Elmira Southside High School, class of 1968. After graduating, he proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War in Germany from 1970 to 1972. He worked as a machinist for Ingersoll-Rand for over 35 years before his retirement.
In his earlier years, he loved traveling and being outdoorswhether cruising, camping, or exploring new places. A lifelong fan of the New York Rangers and Buffalo Bills, he also enjoyed friendly competition as an avid Words with Friends player.
Rick is survived by his son, Daniel (Daniel Lynch) Bellgraph of Kenmore, NY and his mother, Susan Bellgraph of Corning, NY; siblings: Dolores Robinson of Mebane, NC, Harold Bellgraph of Winchester, VA, Scott Bellgraph of Elmira, NY, Don (Carolyn Perry) Bellgraph of NC, Patricia Coolbaugh of Elmira Heights, NY; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his mother, Rick was predeceased by his infant daughter, Tara; and sister, Nancy Jackson.
Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service with full military honors on Friday, August 15, 2025 at 11:00 am at Bath National Cemetery, Bath, NY. Carpenter's Funeral Home, 14 E. Pulteney St., Corning has been entrusted with Rick's care.
Rick's family will provide flowers. Donations in his name may be sent to the, Corning VFW Post 524, 281 Baker St, Corning, NY 14830.
