Richard B. "Rick" Berk

Richard B. Berk, of Warminster, PA, died suddenly on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at Doylestown Hospital. He was 69 years old.

Rick was the beloved husband of Linda Marie Chavez Berk. The couple had shared over 30 years of love, friendship, family and fond memories.

The son of the late Leonard and Bernice Willing Berk, Rick was born in Bristol, PA. He is also the son-in-law of the late Manuel Chavez.

In addition to his wife Linda, Rick will be missed by his son and daughter-in-law, Matthew and Jacqueline Berk; his brothers, Robert L Berk and his wife Carol, and Kenneth E Berk and his wife Teri. Rick is also survived by his mother-in-law, Abbie Chavez; his brother-in-law, Robert L Chavez and his wife Cindy; and several loving nieces, nephews and extended family members. Rick will be missed terribly by his two cats Misty and Coco.

Rick Berk was a beloved father who enjoyed taking his son to karate, taking road trips and spending quality time with his family at air shows. He loved the sound, smell and feeling of aviation and the smile on his family's face. Matthew enjoyed seeing his father rage at the Phillies and any Philly sports team that just couldn't get the final win. One of his favorite hobbies was spending time with his son and proving he was always a better athlete. He will be dearly missed and loved.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet Richard's family on Sunday, December 14, 2025 from 10:30am, until the start of his Tribute at 11:00am at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home at 800 Newtown Richboro Road (at Holland Road) in Richboro, PA 18954. Rick's interment will take place privately.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Rick's memory may be made to the Bucks County SPCA at PO Box 277 in Lahaska, PA 18931.
