Richard Troy Betts

Richard Troy Betts is known as Rickey! Born: July 14, 1969, and Died: May 23, 2023, He is preceded in death by his dad: Clif Betts, grandparents: Dude and Mariam Watford and Clifford and Mary Betts. He is survived by his wife: Sandra Walker Betts of 28 years as of June 3, sons: Caden (Eden) Betts, Caleb Betts, grandsons by Caden: Pax and Silas, mother: Jan Watford, stepmother: Ramaine Fine, mother and father-in-law: Harvey and Sylvia Walker, siblings: Mickey Betts, Shalina Betts, Justina Holmes, Natoya Stevens, and siblings in-law, niece and nephew, aunts and uncles, and cousins. Rickey was born and raised in Okeechobee, Florida. He and his family moved to Townsend, Tennessee in the summer of 2005. Rickey was a member at RIO East Church in Maryville Tennessee. He was a family man and loved to go to church. He always put God first in everything and had a Praise for Jesus every day. His smile was contagious, never had a negative word to say. He loved hunting, camping, fishing. Rickey was an all-around outdoors man!! He also loved to collect knives.

Service Date June 5, 2023

Services will be held Monday June 5, 2023, at RIO East Church: 1691 East Broadway. Receiving of Friends will be 6:00 P.M. -7:00 P.M. A Memorial service will be held at 7:00 P.M. with Pastors Jeff Tankersly, and Dale Buchanan officiating.
