Funeral Services for Richard Jason Blye, age 55, of Carriere, MS, who passed away Monday, March 2, 2026, will be held, Saturday, March 7, 2026 at 11:00 am at Central Baptist Church.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 7, 2026 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at Central Baptist Church.

Services are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

Bro. Billy Galloway will officiate the service.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, Richard was a man whose greatest joy in life was his family. He deeply loved his wife Angela and the life they built together. He pride and joy were his grand babies, who brought endless smiles to his face and warmth to his heart. Richard had a deep love for the outdoors and could often be found hunting, fishing or simply enjoying God's creation. Whether in the woods at sunrise or by the water with a fishing pole in hand, he felt most at peace surrounded by nature. He also enjoyed relaxing at home watching his favorite investigation shows, always intrigued by a good mystery.

Richard will be remembered for his steady presence, his love for his family, and the simple joys that meant so much to him. His legacy of love, devotion, and treasured memories will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Lee Blye, Jr. and Brenda Watkins Blye; brother, Jamie Blye.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving and devoted wife of 32 years, Angela Blansett Blye; children, John (Kristal) Blye, Robbie Blye, and Nicole Blye; loving brother, Scott Blye; grandchildren, Leland, Memphis, Konnor, Korbin, Angelina, Karen, Journey, and Miguel; most favorite sister in law, Mary; sisters in law, Jessica, Heather, and Amanda; nieces and nephews, Devin, Gabby, Alexis, Blake, Hannah, Dakota, Ally, Anna, Katherin, Shelby, Mitchell, Mindy, Trenton, Tyler, Scott Tyler, Benjamin, Brayden and numerous other family and friends whom he loved dearly.
