Richard D. Bolcavage

Richard D Bolcavage of Endwell, NY passed away on November 5, 2025, at Wilson Hospital in Johnson City NY, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, Dena; his daughter Karen (Alan); son Joseph (Jamie); grandchildren, Matthew, Margaret, Benjamin, and James; brother, Theodore (Nancy); and sister-in-law, Karen; nephews, Ted, Matthew, James and Brian; nieces, Ann (Rick), Susan, and Eileen (George); and multiple grandnieces and grandnephews. He was predeceased by son Kevin; first wife, Donna; parents, Joseph and Anna; and brothers, Harold (Marie) and Raymond.
He was born in South Gibson, PA, served in the Marine Corps, and graduated from Temple University with a degree in Electrical Engineering. Then worked at Honeywell, Burroughs, and IBM before retiring to form his own construction business – D&R Development LLC – which he led for 25 years. He loved fishing, building things, growing things, and watching baseball and football games. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and continued to gather with work friends long after retirement.
A Memorial Mass will be Celebrated at noon, on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at St. Mary's Church in Kirkwood NY. Friends may call from 10 to noon, at the church prior to the service. Memorial donations may be made to Good Shepherd Communities Foundation, 32 Village Drive in Endwell, NY 13760.
