Richard C Bourdeau, 88, of Bellevue St in Winooski Vermont died peacefully on Monday, May 26, 2025 at UVM Medical Center following a longtime heart issue.
He was born on August 15, 1936 in Winooski VT the son of the late Richard J Bourdeau and Lauretta R Bourdeau.
Richard is survived by, Clint Walker, Karen Bourdeau, Laura Walker, Mercedes Burnham, Paul Bourdeau, Michael Bourdeau, Makayla Walker, Linda Poulin, Heather Poulin, Danielle Bourdeau, Paula Bourdeau and her husband Tommy.
He is predeceased by his first wife, Shirley Bourdeau, his second wife, Therese Bourdeau, and his third love, Joyce Walker; his two sons, Randy, and Darren Bourdeau; his daughter, Faye Bourdeau, and his sister, Arlene Cadieux.
Richard Bourdeau is an unforgettable man. He spent many years fishing, tending to his gardens, riding his tractor/cars, playing cards, and putting love into people's hearts. He was very witty, great with computers and all things "tech" back in the day. He spent many years working as a painter, and then was employed by IBM where he eventually retired. A big achievement of his was spending a year repairing towers in South Africa during the Korean War and the beginning of Vietnam War.
Richard was a man of many qualities, down to his charming smile and witty jokes. He will be missed by many, and forever held in our hearts. May we remember Richard as a simple, loving man who never wanted or asked for anything, because he was the man that helped and gave it all.
He will be laid to rest next to his second wife in Winooski Vermont as per his wishes. The family asks for peace and prayers during this time, and to remember that tomorrow is never promised, to live each day to the fullest.
