Mr. Richard Bowman, age 74 of Rockwood, passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2025. He was born on February 12, 1951. Richard retired after 30 years with the Department of Energy, working for X10 and K25. He was a member of Asbury Chapel Church. Richard was a member and Past Master of the Rockwood Masonic Lodge #403 F.& A.M., where he also served as Secretary for many years. Richard was also active with several other Lodges in the area. He was a member of the York Rite & Alhambra Shrine. He spent a lot of his time volunteering and serving at the Rockwood Ministerial Association food pantry. He is preceded in death by his parents: Ray and Floy Bowman. He is survived by:

Son: Rick Bowman (Kristie)
Sister: Cay Bowman
Brother: Larry Ray Bowman (Arlene)
Special Friend: Addy
and a host of other extended family members and friends.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, November 15th, 2025, from 12:00-2:00 pm ET at Evans Mortuary in Rockwood. Masonic service will begin at 2:00 pm ET followed by his funeral service with Pastor Steve Parker and Chaplain Bruce K. Foster officiating. Graveside and interment services will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Rockwood, TN. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Mr. Richard Bowman. In lieu of flowers, family asks that donations be made to the Shriner's Hospital or St. Jude’s's Children's Research Hospital.
