Sandra L. Bowman

Sandra L. Bowman, 75 of Lancaster passed away on Saturday February 28, 2026 with her son by her side.

She was the wife of the late John R. Bowman who passed away in 2005. Born in Lancaster, Sandra was the daughter of the late Jay A. Adams and Janet Souders Adams.

She was a long-time member of St. John's Methodist Church in Gordonville where she valued her church family and sang in the choir.

Sandra graduated from Penn Manor High School, class of 1968.

She was employed by Physicians Support Services in Mt. Joy for many years as well as the law firm of Shirk, Reist, Wagonseller and Mecum of Lancaster.

Sandra enjoyed traveling, bowling, dining out, and spending time with family and friends. She was an avid viewer of both Jeopardy and Hallmark movies. She was most proud of her 2 grandchildren and loved spending time with them.

Sandra is survived by her son Gregory S (Angie), her grandchildren Ian and Eliza Bowman, her Sister Donna Adams Kimball (Ken) and nieces Kristin Kimball and Jennifer Milrood, She was preceded in death by her sister Debra Adams.

Friends may visit Sandra's family April 8, 2026 from 10-11 AM at St, John's Methodist Church, 3001 Lincoln Highway East, Gordonville, PA. The Memorial Service will follow in the Sanctuary at 11:00 AM. Interment will directly follow the service in the church cemetery.
