Richard W. Burkhardt, 93, of Quakertown passed away on October 25, 2023. He was born on September 11, 1930 to the late Oscar and Pearl (Frey) Burkhardt. Richard was the loving husband of the late Naomi (Somers) Burkhardt for 53 years until her passing in 2010. He worked in payroll at Bethlehem Steel for over 20 years, and later was a custodian at Quakertown School District. Richard loved bus trips, exploring the entire catalog from Perkiomen Tours. He loved going on family vacations, including to Wildwood, Disney, and Lancaster. He was a big part of the leagues at Quaker Lanes Bowling. He enjoyed attending Lehigh football games and DeSales basketball games.
Richard is survived by his sons Michael (Josephine) Burkhardt, Craig (Linda) Burkhardt, Eric (Lori) Burkhardt, and Todd Burkhardt; grandchildren Lena, Samantha, Ben, and Julie; 2 great grandchildren; and many other loving family and friends. He is predeceased by his parents; wife; and sisters Evelyn and Olive.
All are invited on Friday, November 10 to Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Rd., Quakertown, PA 18951 to a visitation from 10-11am and a memorial service at 11am.
