Richard Horace Calhoun born March 17,1933 in Utica New York passed away on May 14,2003 in Russell Springs,Kentucky.He was devoted husband of Carol (McFadden) Calhoun for 38 years.He leaves their son Paul and two grandsons Justin and Sean.He also leaves son Robert and daughter Marilyn of Utica New York.Also leaves step children Sue and Richard also of Utica New York. He enjoyed operating heavy equipment and co- owned B-C Excavating Company in Churchville New York. He and wife Carol owned Velvet Briar Horse Farm in Churchville New York. He was skilled at farming building remodeling trades .He enjoyed drinking with the guys and helping out neighbors. He was a hard working man and suffered from several illnesses in his last years.He was baptized at the age of 60 years in the Parksville Baptist Church,Parksville KY. He is dearly missed by loving wife Carol and devoted son Paul.
