Richard Carbone Obituary

Carbone - Richard Angelo, 73, formerly of East Williston and Mineola, NY, died on January 31, 2026, at Saint Clair Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA. He was born on October 13, 1952, to the late Angelo and Julia (Gulino) Carbone. Richard was a retired sergeant for the NYPD and worked for many years as an investigator for the Brooklyn District Attorney's office and the Nassau County District Attorney. He was also a Volunteer firefighter for East Williston VFD and also after moving to the Poconos, Lake Ariel VFD. Richard is survived by his loving wife whom he just celebrated his 43rd year of marriage with on January 15th, Billie

(Simmons) Carbone; daughter, Victoria (Phil Trona) Carbone; two brothers, Angelo (Cindy) Carbone, Jr., Michael (Mary Jane) Carbone; sister, Ella (Tom) Whitehead. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Richard Carbone, Jr.; and sister-in-law, Darlene Carbone. The arrangements have been entrusted to the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home, Inc. And Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue, Monessen, PA 15062. A celebration of life will be held in New York, at a date to be announced. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.dalfonso-billick.com.
