Richard Chavez Obituary
Richard is preceded in death by his parents Nick and Rebecca Chavez, grandson Adam Otero, 3 brothers, 5 sisters, 4 brothers-in-law, and 1 sister-in-law.
Richard retired from the post office and became a chaplain for his VFW Post. Richard was a retired Air Force veteran who love his country . . . and football!
Richard was loved by many and will be missed by family and friends alike.
Inurnment will be held at Santa Fe National Cemetery on March 6, 2026 at 1 pm. Santa Fe National Cemetery is located at 501 N Guadalupe St, Santa Fe, NM 87501.
