Richard Cheak Obituary
Survivors include: a brother, Robert "Bob" (Annette) Cheak of Burgin, KY; several nieces and nephews; and special appreciation for niece, Gina Johns and her care.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Martha Watts, and four brothers, Billy, Melvin, Tom, and David Cheak.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, 345 E. Lexington St., Harrodsburg, KY with by Bro. Bob Cheak and Chaplain Phil Majcher officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Visitation is 11 AM until 1 PM, Wednesday, December 3rd, Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
Pallbearers are: Troy and William Cheak, Jerry and Jeremy Thacker, Seth Sheene, Justis Mitchell, Stanley "Peanut" Riney, Brent Jennings, and Keith Monson
Memorials are suggested to Thomas-Hood Veteran's Center, 100 Veterans Dr., Wilmore, KY 40390-9775.
The family wishes to express their gratitude and appreciation to the staff of the Thomson-Hood Veteran's Center for nine years of dedicated and compassionate care.

I´m very sorry I couldn´t get to Dick´s service today. I had known Dick since the 70´s when he carpooled with my first husband. He was always a good friend to me. Bob and Annette I´m keeping you all in my prayers, it´s hard to be the last sibling standing but we have to keep on keeping on

To Bob and family, I was so sorry to hear about Richard. He was a good man and took good care of Granny Cheak. We know he´s in Heaven with Jesus and rest of his family. May our Heavenly Father give each one of you comfort and peace. Evelyn and Bobby Mitchell.
