Robert “Wayne” Cheak, 62 of Russellville, passed from this life on Sunday, March 1, 2026, in Russellville. Wayne was born May 2, 1963, in Longview, Texas, to Margie Ruth (Cates) Cheak. He was a rabid football fan and an All-Conference player, he was known for his work ethic and dedication to excellence in everything he did; his baking skills, love for his family and cats were unmeasurable. He is preceded in death by his beloved grandmother, Lucille Cates.
Left behind to cherish Waynes memory are his mother, Margie Cheak; one son Nathanael Cheak; siblings Stewart (Laura) Cheak, Tommy (Karina) Cheak, Tomisa (JT) Robinson; nieces and nephews, Johnathan (Jenniffer) Bowden, Seth Cheak, Haven Cheak, Halle Cheak, Lily Cheak, Grace Cheak; one great-niece, Bowie Bowden; his in laws, David and Jamie Woods; along with numerous extended family and friends.

Tommy Cheak, Stewart Cheak, JT Robinson, Tony Lewis, Jeff Pike, and Johnathan Bowden will be serving as pallbearers, honorary pallbearers will be Nathanael Cheak, David Woods, Seth Cheak, and the staff of Duffield Gravel Company.
