Lorene Mae Hogan-Standridge, 90 of Russellville, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, February 15, 2026. She was born June 11, 1935 in Tag, Arkansas to James Allen Hogan and Drucie Lavena Archer Hogan.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Standridge; Brothers, Delmar Hogan & Oral Hogan; sister, Bernice Baker; Grandson, Justin Waterman; Great Grandson, Kendall Waterman; Father of her sons, W.D. Waterman; step son, Allen Standridge.
She is survived by her three sons, Phil Waterman & Kathy, Eddie Waterman & Evelyn, Ronald Waterman & Terry; 6 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren; four siblings, Jerlene Wolfe, Laverne Mullenix, G.W Hogan, Debra Blair and several other friends and family.
Lorene moved to California 1954. She spent over a decade in California with her husband, W.D. Waterman and three sons; Phil, Eddie and Ron. In 1966 Lorene began driving buses for Linden schools until 1976. She continued driving in 1976 - 1982 in Lodi. In 1983 - 1995 she was a supervisor. She was awarded Boss of the Year in 1994 by classified employees due to her dedication in supervising 69 Lodi certified drivers. Her overall management skills and dedication to the children earned her the title. She married Charles Standridge in 1986. Lorene loved southern gospel and blue grass music. She attended Falling Water Church and Calvary Temple Assembly of God.
Her visitation will be 5-7 pm Thursday February 19th, 2026 at Calvary Temple Assembly of God . The Funeral service will be 2pm Friday, February 20th at Calvary Temple officiated by Brother Jeff Lewis with burial following in North New Hope Cemetery in Dover. Arrangements are under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral.
