Ina Mae Darter

Ina Mae (Roberts) Darter, age 95, of Russellville, Arkansas, passed away on February 13, 2026, at Legacy Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation surrounded by her family. Visitation will be on February 19, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. with funeral service to follow at 10:00 a.m. at Humphrey Funeral Chapel with Susan Underhill Allen and Jim Darter officiating. A private family burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Services.

Ina was born April 20,1930, in Russellville, Arkansas, to Ezra Cecile "Bud" and Alice Mae (Karnes) Roberts. She married James Arlie Darter in October 25, 1947, in Russellville.

Grandmother to eight grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren, each of whom she assured was in fact her favorite. She was Nana to her family. She spent her entire life devoted to loving and faithfully supporting every member of her family.

She attended Russellville Christian Center and enjoyed attending the weekly women's Bible study. She was a retired employee of Millard Henry Clinic.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years James Arlie Darter, her oldest daughter Cecile Ann Brown, two sisters, Ona Faye McAnulty, Margaret Linton, and her brother Euel T. Roberts.

Survivors include her son-in-law Russell Brown, her daughter Debbie and husband Bob Jackson of Russellville, son David Darter and wife Ellen of Nashville, TN; Eight grandchildren and their spouses, Todd and Michelle Brown of Delaware, Sonya and Kelley Roach of Russellville, Alison Taylor of Fayetteville, Aaron and Renae Taylor of Russellville, Katie Darter of Island Park, ID, Jim and Rachel Darter of Nashville, TN, Jamie and Terry Thomas of Russellville, Kerri and Charlie Case of Little Rock: sixteen great-grandchildren, Carter and wife Cecily Brown of Little Rock, Hannah and husband Chris Grauel of Delaware, Peyton Roach of Ogden, Utah (currently serving in Air Force in Japan), Kameron Roach, Taylor Roach, and Colin Roach of Russellville, Moss Hodgson, Harlow Hodgson and Sebastian Hodgson of Fayetteville, Emma Taylor and Leah Taylor of Russellville, Eleanor Darter and Owen Darter of Nashville, TN, Paige Thomas of Russellville, Jackson Case and Georgia Case of Little Rock; and four great-great-grandkids, Elijah, Xavier, Darius and Phoebe Grauel and many nieces, nephews and close friends.

Active pallbearers will be Carter Brown, Kameron Roach, Taylor Roach, Colin Roach, Moss Hodgson, Ryan Roberts, Richard Roberts, and David Roberts.

The family would like to extend our appreciation and thanks to Dr. Robert Thurlby and Dr. Kevin Beavers of Millard Henry Clinic for their medical support over the years.

Also, we would like to recognize the nurses and staff of Legacy Heights for the wonderful care and comfort they provided to both her and our family.
