Richard Chenoweth Obituary

Published by Legacy on Mar. 20, 2026.
On Saturday, March 14, 2026, Richard Andrew Chenoweth, affectionately known as "Rich" or "Rick", age 68, of Mineral Ridge, OH, passed away at Mercy Health - St. Joseph Hospital in Warren, OH. He was born on June 30, 1957, in Youngstown, OH, to Willard and Eugenia (Barb) Chenoweth.

Rich graduated from Austintown Fitch High School in 1976. He spent much of his life working as a laborer and retired in 2023 from Dinesol Plastics, marking the end of a long and dedicated career. Rich lived a life filled with simple joys and treasured moments.

A devoted fan of the Cleveland Browns, Rich could often be found cheering for his favorite team. He had a love for grilling and took pride in tending to his garden whenever he had the opportunity. Rich also enjoyed attending concerts and car shows, sharing these experiences with friends, family, and his children. Among his greatest joys was spending time with his beloved grandson, Ace, whom he adored.

During his wife's lifetime, Rich cherished their summers spent at the lake and their long car rides together. He will be remembered for his warm smile and his ability to find happiness in life's everyday moments.

Rich is survived by his children, Victoria (Carson Williams) Mayfield of McDonald, OH, Rachael (Tyler Cluse) Chenoweth of Niles, OH, and Michael Chenoweth of Mineral Ridge, OH; grandchildren, Ace Jacob Williams and one blessing anticipated in May; sister, Marilyn Chenoweth of PA; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Robin (Mayfield) Chenoweth.

May his legacy of love and joy bring comfort to all who mourn his passing.

Rich and Robin will be interred at Greenhaven Memorial Gardens at a future date.
